This set of 24 prints depicting some of the more obscure regiments
and units that fought on both sides during the American Civil War was done
as original paintings by the late Dallas, Texas artist Gordon Davis between
1966 and 1974 on commission by historian and collector Bob Cowan. Each painting
was carefully researched and executed
